Well, looks like I wasn't the only one thinking about sunny Florida. Seems the DH found a good deal on a flight and a rental car...So by the time you read this, I'll be enroute to Tampa. Of course, the only problem with this trip is that Florida is having the coldest winter in years! Matter of fact, I've been looking up the weather predictions, and the high temps. in central Florida are the SAME as we have been having here. In other words -- BRRR!
There's just something inherently WRONG about packing thermal long johns for a trip to Florida. Can't quite make myself do it... Sure hope I don't have to buy a pair once I get there!
What about you? Ever taken a trip somewhere and it turned out to be not at all what you expected?

Have a great time and I do hope the weather warms up for you. You can gladly have our heat at the moment it was 40c here yesterday and at 10-00pm last night it was still about 30c too hot to sleep and this morning not much cooler we are expecting a high today of
33c.
I haven't been on many trips but there is nothing worse than going to the beach in summer for a holiday and it rains the whole time which has happend to us a couple of times not fun.

I hope you don't have to buy thermals - they probably don't sell them. The weather does sound crazy though. Keep hoping. It might warm up.

Hey Everyone!
I'm BAACK and it was a wonderful (if too short) trip! SOOO good to see the sun again, and it was only chilly the first day. Now I'm back to pouring rain. :-( Oh well... It was fun while it lasted!
