Cappadocia

I have a post up on the Romance Bandits (just click on the title of this post to go there) with pictures of the Fairy Chimneys we saw in Cappadocia, Turkey.

As I mentioned, the weird formations and other-worldly-ness of this region made me feel like I was on another planet! Too bad I don't write science fiction or fantasy. Cappadocia would definitely inspire all kinds of story ideas.

Now be honest, does this look like any place on earth you've ever seen? (Never mind that alien creature standing in front of the formations.)

Never an alien creature Aunty Cindy I do love seeing pictures of your travels makes me want to back my bags and take off but I would need an extra bag for my books that I could read on the plane and at night before I go to sleep

Have Fun

I always take books with me too, Helen!

Unfortunately I was only able to squeeze in 3 on this trip and I read one (Christine Wells' Dangerous Duke) on the plane going over. So when we came back, I'd long since finished the other 2 and had to watch movies on the ride home. I watched Wall-E (which I LOVED), Mummy 3, and a couple of others that were so bad I can't even remember what they were! :-P
