3,2,1... PAR-TAY!!!!!

We are down to the wire now. The Wild Sight will be released next Wednesday!

After all these long months of waiting, I can hardly believe it is true. I'm currently in the midst of a blog tour with more than a dozen stops scheduled so far, and I'll be giving away free books at every blog I visit. I hope you can pop by and join me at a few of my stops.
  • Sept. 29th I'm being interviewed at Romance Writers On The Journey
  • Sept. 30th we're having a Launch Party on Casablanca Authors Blog
  • Oct. 1st is my Launch Party on Romance Bandits
  • Oct. 6th is yet another Launch Party! This one on Yankee Romance Reviewers
  • Oct. 10th I'm doing a guest blog on Bitten by Books (who just gave The Wild Sight a terrific review!)
...and that's just in the next two weeks! The rest of the month is equally busy with appearances on Jennifer's Random Musings, Enchanted Reviews, Much Cheaper than Therary, and Long and Short of It Reviews.

WHEW! My head is spinning! Meanwhile, I still haven't seen The Wild Sight in a store yet. (Aunty does a major pout!) If you have, or if you've received your copy from an online order, please take a picture and send me a copy. PRETTY PLEASE?!?! There's a chocolate reward if you are the first!

Hey Jane,
I can't believe it either! I've been waiting sooo long and now that it's almost here, I'm STRESSED TO THE MAX!

I wish you and Helen could be here for my pizza party on the 5th. I'm trying to find a bakery that will scan the book cover onto the top of a cake... I know Tawny did this for her first book and it looked AWESOME!

At this rate, you'll have your copy in Australia before I ever receive MINE! ACK!!!

I am so looking forward to receiving your picture, and everyone else's too! It's still hard for me to believe that THOUSANDS of people will read my book. What a WONDERFUL DREAM COME TRUE!

I'm thinking of going on an early book hunt this evening so maybe I'll have a picture to share soon.

Also can't believe it's finally here. Gah! Must be SO exciting. And I've seen them do that cake thing at our local grocery stores, I'd try the little chain store around the corner!

GREAT suggestion, Terrio!

I just went to the chain grocery store across the street (Save Mart, nee Albertsons, nee Luckys) and yes, indeed! They DO make "picture" cakes and only need 24 hours notice.

Are you SURE I can "hire" you as my personal assistant?

If only I had five or six extra minutes a week to take that job. I'd do it in a heartbeat!

You know, I should consider that since I already spend so much time on blogs, boards and talking to authors and readers. LOL!

Aunt Cindy--

Your book was third row down, COVER facing out--very cool!!!--in the Barnes and Noble in Overland Park, KS. (KS city) I never have a camera, so no pic, sorry! It was just gorgeous! And I love the size and feel of the paper they used--a silly thing, I know, but it just "feels" good and heavy in my hand, and the paper is very smooth to the touch.

I'm going to start it tomorrow night after I get some more things done this weekend.

WOOO! HOOO! Gillian!

So happy to hear TWS is on the shelf SOMEWHERE! Our Bandita Buddy Keira S. also told me it was in Borders in the Seattle area.

I totally understand about the no camera thing (would you believe I forgot to take mine on our last cruise?!?!). Just send me your snail mail and I send you a lil choccie treat anyway!
